At Fashion Jam, They are raffling 2 tickets to the Britney Spears/Nicki Minaj concert on August 13 at the Air Canada Centre (8th row $700 value). Those who have purchased guaranteed seating through the Fashion Jam website (www.thefashionjam.com/tickets.​html) will be automatically entered. Hurry up as they’re going fast! Raffle tickets can also be purchased on the night of the show for $10 each.

Sakura-con Lolita Fashion Show

Thank you to everyone who attended and participated in the Sakura-con 2011 Lolita fashion show! It looks like the show was a big success!


We’re hoping to get the new collection priced and up for sale by the end of May.
The 2nd half of the collection will be ready by the end of June for The Fashion Jam Show in Toronto.

The Cat Art of Blending in (or not)

Just a post of cute today (Finished Garment post later though!), since everyone needs a little dose of cute.

This is my kitty, Mitsuki, blending in with my fabric. This is around the same time last year, and she's laying on one of my unfinished Sakura-Con Fashion show pieces. This is definitely the Cat art of blending in.

And this is Mitsuki, attempting to blend in with my lilac fabric for the s/s 2011 collection.

She's one of those cats that must lay on anything you put on the table, or on the floor. You'd never imagine how hard it is to pattern draft with a cat sitting in front of you and trying to steal your pencil and eraser! But the cute wins anyways, and I can't be mad.
